Working within the visual language of Matthew’s dramatic universe, TALISMAN was approached by the producing team to create a gestalt graphic device emblematic of the play’s themes, highlighting the comedic world of Lombardo’s slick, campy, and macabre characters.
The design framework balances provocative elements with just enough irreverence to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Elegant minimalism strategically frames moments of visual indulgence, heightening the audience’s appetite for the show’s more scandalous elements.
