For over thirty years, Selective Casting has maintained its position as one of the premier boutique casting agencies, serving a broad variety of on-camera projects including corporate and educational videos, commercials, and independent films. TALISMAN developed a new brand identity for the company to reflect its new leadership while communicating the expertise, creativity, and support for which the agency is known.
TALISMAN created a graphic language and unique tone of voice to capture the energy of the company’s founder and new leadership, crafting a system that can be used in a variety of communications platforms for the company in years ahead: including social, digital, and print.
Selective Casting focuses on humanizing the audition process in a collaborative and purpose-driven workplace. Owner Lena Kaminsky sought to find a vocabulary of visual and verbal cues that reflect her passion for cultivating talent and welcoming actors of all backgrounds, identities, and nationalities.
Creating a new logo and color palette that reflect both expertise and vibrant energy, the brand positioning focuses on inclusivity, where ‘selective need not be exclusive’ – anchoring Selective Casting as an affirming, creative space for artists and creators.
